Horrific injury as knees pass toes during squat
A horrific knee injury was sustained by a local exercise enthusiast and gym attendee. The man, who has asked to remain anonymous, was observed flagrantly flouting technical guidelines for safe squatting.
A witness to the incident spoke with The Good Health Tribune. “I’ve warned him that many times that I don’t even feel sorry for the dopey bastard. I told him, I said, look mate, if you go around squatting like that… you’re asking for trouble. And there you have it… look at him now- tibiofemoral dislocation thank you very much!”
We asked the witness to explain why squatting in this manner carries such a great risk of injury. “Well it’s not complicated, pal. My Physio explained it to me really good. I’ve never forgotten it and I make sure I tell it to all my mates. When your knees go past your toes when you squat, you put way too much load through the front of your knees… and your knees will collapse inwards and that means you won’t be able to activate your glutes enough. If you do that often enough, it’s just a matter of time before one of your knees shits itself like what happened to old mate here”.
