An online debate between Health Professionals over the relative benefits of a specific spinal manipulation manoeuvre has resulted in injury to a debate participant.

Part-time Chiropractor and full-time Facebook antagoniser, Jules Imright suffered a strain to his lumbar spine during a vigorous dick swinging contest with Physiotherapist and noted social media frenemy, Jimmy McMyway.

The exchange between the two was terse from the outset, owing to their rich history of public disagreement on everything. And it wasn’t long before their exchanges devolved into a spectacularly self righteous race to the bottom, culminating in a degree of dick swinging so intense that injury was sustained.

The two protagonists have been locking horns for several years, with neither individual passing on any opportunity to derail otherwise fruitful discussions with fallacious and uncharitable questions regarding the motive behind the other’s stance on any topic relevant to their overlapping healthcare professions.

“Once Jules and Jimmy find themselves in the same discussion, all bets are off”, explained a regular debate lurker. “It’s only going to end one way… with a bunch of accusations about logical fallacies, and a whole lot of posting of links to journal articles that I doubt neither of them have bothered to read. All that’s left to do is grab the popcorn and wait to see who drops their pants and starts swinging first-haha”.
